Benko's Workshop is a French sole trader (micro-entreprise) that sells handcrafted GameCube controllers, 3D printed parts and console repair services. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

When you place an order or submit a repair request, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Shipping address
• Phone number (optional, for shipping)
• Order details and payment confirmation (via Stripe)
• Messages you send us through the contact form

We do not store your card details — all payments are processed securely by Stripe.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Process and ship your order
• Send you order confirmation and tracking info
• Respond to your repair or contact requests
• Handle returns or warranty claims

We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

Stripe — handles all payment processing. Your card data is processed directly by Stripe and never passes through our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Formspree — handles contact form submissions. See Formspree's privacy policy.

Vercel — hosts this website. Basic server logs may be retained. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Data retention

We retain your order information for as long as required by French law (generally 10 years for accounting records). Contact form messages are kept for up to 2 years.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We only use a local storage key (benkos_cart) to save your shopping cart — this stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
