Controllers
What is a PhOB controller?
PhOB (Phob Opened Board) is an open-source replacement board for GameCube controllers. It adds tons of modification options. Hall-effect sticks (magnetic, no drift), tactile Z button switch, button remapping and more. It's considered the gold standard for competitive Melee and Ultimate players.
Are PhOB controllers tournament legal?
Yes. PhOB controllers are legal in all major Melee and Ultimate tournaments.
What is the difference between your controller variants?
All my controllers use the same PhOB v2 board and hall-effect sticks and kailh tactile z button switch. The difference is the shell, cable and buttons in various colors. Performance is identical across all variants.
Can I request a fully custom controller?
Yes! I offer full bespoke builds — your colors, your button choices. Use the contact form on the Repair & Mod page to discuss your project.
How long does a build take?
Lead time is 1 to 2 weeks from payment confirmation. I'll keep you updated throughout the process.
3D Printing & OEM Parts
What materials do you use for 3D prints?
I use bambulabs matte pla in various colors. Large parts are printed at 0.4 mm, while smaller ones are printed at 0.2 mm
Can you print from my own STL file?
Yes. Send me your STL via the contact form and I'll give you a quote within 24 hours. I can print in any color available in my current filament stock.
What are OEM parts?
OEM parts are original Nintendo components pulled from donor GameCube controllers. They are cleaned, inspected, and tested before sale. Stock is limited and varies — check availability on the product page.
Repair & Modding
How does the repair service work?
You contact me first via the Repair & Mod form. Once we agree on the work and the quote, you ship your console or controller to me in France. I repair it, test it, and ship it back with tracking.
What consoles do you repair?
I repair Nintendo consoles (GameCube, Wii, N64, SNES) and other retro consoles (PS2, Dreamcast, and others). If you're unsure whether I can help, just ask — diagnosis is always free.
Do you install PhOB boards on customer controllers?
Yes. If you already have a PhOB board, send me your controller and I'll do the full install and calibration. Price starts at 100 € (board not included).
What mods do you offer?
HDMI output, PicoLoader and other chip mods, region unlock, RGB/component mods, and custom shell installs. Get in touch to discuss your specific project.
Orders & Shipping
Do you ship to Nordic countries?
Yes — Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland are all covered. Shipping typically takes 4 to 7 business days from France. See the Shipping page for rates.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Every order ships with a tracking number that I'll send you by email once dispatched.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.). Payment is processed securely.
